Leaving Changi Airport

There are many options to get out of Changi Airport including taking the , airport shuttle, limousine, MRT and rented car.

By taxi

Leaving Changi Airport by taxi is very easy. Just look for the "Taxi" sign at the Arrivals levels of any of the terminals and join the queue, if there is one. A trip to the city will cost you between S$18 and S$32 and will take around 30 minutes.

When you take taxis from Changi Airport, do note that there is a surcharge of S$3.00. On weekends the surcharge is S$5.00.

By Airport Shuttle

The Airport Shuttle is an economical alternative for leaving the airport, especially if you are in a small group. The Airport Shuttle will take you to any of the hotels in Singapore (except Changi Village Hotel and those on Sentosa Island). The Airport Shuttle charges based on headcount, and costs S$9.00 per adult and S$6.00 per child. You can even charter the entire coach for S$50.00. The service is available 24hrs daily, and passengers are required to make booking at the counters in the Arrival Hall.

Singapore Airport Arrival Transfer

By Train (MRT)

Changi Airport is served by the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) trains. The MRT Station is located under Terminals 2 and 3. You can reach it by escalators and lifts. The first train arrives at around 0530hr and the last leaves at midnight. It only costs about S$2.70 (inclusive of S$1.00 refundable deposit) to reach the city, and the journey takes approximately 27 minutes. You can buy the tickets from the machines at the station.

Leaving Changi Airport by Public Bus

Bus No. 36 goes to the city. You can catch it at the Bus Stop under Terminals 1, 2 and 3. The bus fare is not more than S$2.00. Prepare exact change as no change will be provided.Top

By Limousine Taxi

Ride into the city in style in either the 5-seater or 7-seater limousine taxis. The Limousine Taxi Counter is located at the Arrival Halls. The fare is as follows:

S$45.00 per one-way trip* [5-seater, from 0600 hour to midnight]

S$50.00 per one-way trip* [7-seater, from 0600 hour to midnight]

S$10.00 surcharge from midnight to 0600 hour

The fare is for a single destination without enroute stops.
