Organized Tours of Singapore

Some people hate it, but organized tours are a good way to sightsee Singapore, especially if you want your "Singapore experience" to come in a neat, tidy package. Also, organized tours are ideal for family traveling with kids, as they are usually done with children in mind.

Most city tours of Singapore takes 4 hours, and the itinerary should include places such as Chinatown, Little India, the Civic District, Kampong Glam and Orchard Road. Expect to pay about S$30.00. There are also thematic tours for people with specific interest, such as tours of World War II sights, Chinese opera tour, culinary tours, even Feng Shui tours. If you are looking for a personal tour guide to take you around, contact the Registered Tourist Guides Association at 6339 2114. Expect to pay S$25 to S$50 per hour for a personal tour guide.
